Estes Park Farmers Market
August 11 – September 29, 2016
Bond Park
Bond Park welcomes its weekly farmers’ market vendors and shoppers on Thursdays in late summer and early fall. From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., enjoy free admission to the market as you shop for fresh produce or hand-crafted souvenirs.

Autumn Gold – A festival of bands, brats, and beer

Bond Park
The Autumn Gold Festival celebrates the fall season with its stunning golden hues, seasonal brews, and live tunes. Entrance to the park is free for this family-friendly event and food and drinks are available for purchase. There’s also a raffle with a grand prize of $5,000.

Running of the Bulls

Help Partners Mentoring Youth with this 3.75-mile run/walk around Lake Estes on Saturday, September 24. There’s a free one-mile kids’ fun run though the regular race is family-friendly, stroller-friendly, and dog-friendly and offers beautiful views of the fall colors and snow-capped mountains. Register online.

Vintage Market Days
September 30 – October 2, 2016
Estes Park Events Center
Vintage Market Days returns to Estes Park in late September where you can shop for original works and vintage pieces, antiques, and jewelry during this three-day event. The market is held twice a year, once in fall and once in late spring. Tickets start at $5 for daily admission or $10 for the entire weekend with the early buying event.

Elk Fest
October 1 – 2, 2016
Bond Park
Estes Park is home to a large elk population and you’re invited to join in the festivities celebrating our elk and learning more about them at Elk Fest in early October. Hear the haunting call of the bull elk, watch Native American dances, and participate in educational seminars during this weekend event.

Pumpkins & Pilsners Festival

Bond Park
This young festival, in its third year, celebrates fall with pumpkin bowling, tractor and pony rides, live music, and a pumpkin patch. You’ll also find seasonal brews from regional breweries and delicious snacks from the food vendors. Admission is free to the festival though the pumpkin patch and dining is an additional cost. The event is on a Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fall Back Beer Fest
November 5, 2016

Enjoy the fall season with the Fall Back Beer Fest in early November. Now in its fourth year, this festival honors craft beer and brewers and provides the opportunity for beer enthusiasts to try new breweries and chat with the craft brewers behind them. General admission tickets start at $35 and include unlimited tasting and a commemorative tasting glass.

In honor of Veterans Day, enjoy fee free entry to the park. This is the last fee free day of 2016. The first fee free day of 2017 will be in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Catch the Glow Christmas Parade & Celebration

As Thanksgiving comes to a close, it’s time to start the Christmas festivities with family-friendly events around town and the fantastic holiday parade down Elkhorn Avenue! The Parade begins at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th after a day of activities in Bond Park that include hay rides, visits with Santa, and meetings with parade characters.

Santa’s Workshop

Get into the holiday spirit by helping Santa at his workshop! Decorate trees, create a gingerbread house, or visit with Santa from noon to 4 p.m. at this free kid-friendly event.

Estes Park Winter Festival & Winter Trails Day

Head to the Rockies the weekend of Martin Luther King Jr. Day for the Estes Park Winter Festival and Winter Trails Day! The Festival brings more than 30 vendors together so you can sample Colorado beers and wine, learn about winter activities in Rocky Mountain National Park, or shop for new winter apparel and gear. Then, on Winter Trails Day, go in to the Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the free snowshoe festival and demo new equipment.
