Craft Beverages in Estes Park

Image of a group of people toasting with beer.

Estes Park may be a small mountain town, but its craft beverage scene is large – it is home to an array of local breweries, distilleries, and wineries. Nothing pairs better than a day out on the trails with a tasty craft drink from one of our local drinking establishments. With the Estes Park Wine Festival next month and a great line up of beer festivals in September and October, we wanted to highlight some of the best places to enjoy our local craft beverages in Estes Park.

Estes Park Breweries

Estes Park Brewery

Since 1993 Estes Park Brewery has been crafting some tasty brews for locals and tourists alike. Some of the more popular suds to taste are the Trail Ridge Rd, Estes Park Gold, and the Samson Stout. Estes Park Brewery has it all, with a full menu, outdoor dining with a scenic view, pool tables and a beer garden, this is entertainment at its best.

Rock Cut Brewing Company

The brewery and tasting room at Rock Cut Brewing Company is located at the bottom of Prospect Mountain in downtown Estes Park. With twelve different taps, their focus is on high-quality ingredients, original recipes, and creative style. Sample their popular Quickdraw American pale ale or the Enos Pils, an American craft pilsner.

Lumpy Ridge Brewing Co.

Art and beer are brought together at Lumpy Ridge Brewing Co. Patrons can enjoy a well-crafted beer while admiring colorful murals designed and painted by their in-house artist. Sustainability is another highlight of this brewery. Repurposed from an old gas station, the interior is cozy with a delightful outside patio, perfect for enjoying a cold one on those hot summer days.

Wineries in Estes Park

Snowy Peaks Winery

Located in the heart of Estes Park, Snowy Peaks Winery is home-grown Colorado wine at its best. Sample some of their award-winning, handcrafted wines along with other local Colorado wines at their in-town tasting room. And to complete your tasting, they also offer adequate food pairings to complement your wine selection.

Distilleries in Estes Park

Dancing Pines Distillery

As a craft distillery, Dancing Pines Distillery creates artisanal small batch distilled spirits. Guided by the sound of wind rustling through the pines in the Colorado wilderness, this local favorite captures the essence of what this great state is about. Their line-up includes a straight bourbon whiskey, chai liqueur, gin, and a spiced rum, just to name a few. They have a tasting room both in downtown Estes Park and Breckenridge.

Estes Park Beer Garden

Estes Park’s craft beverage scene comes together at The Barrel. Offering over 64 rotating taps with a focus on craft beer, ciders, high-end distilled spirits and wine. The BARREL is your one-stop-shop for all your craft beverages in Estes Park.

When planning your Estes Park vacation consider planning around some of the town’s annual wine and beer festivals that feature some of these Estes Park breweries and wineries.
