January

Estes Park Winter Festival

Date: January 18th & 19th, 2020

Where: Estes Park Events Center

Celebrate the winter season by sampling from the chili cook-off, local brews, and all while enjoying live entertainment at the Estes Park Events Center. Fun activities include bounce houses for the kids, a silent disco and photo booth, plus face painting.

February

Wine and Chocolate Festival

Date: February 8th, 2020

Where: Estes Park Events Center

Who doesn’t love wine and chocolate, especially when they are paired together? Sample chocolate from the area’s finest chocolatiers, sip on pours from a variety of local wineries, and if you find something you like, bottles of wine and chocolate are available for purchase!

Rails in the Rockies

Date: February 15th & 16th, 2020

Where: Estes Park Events Complex

Rails in the Rockies is the perfect event for the entire family! Round up the kids and head out to the Estes Park Events Complex to see trains from the steam age to modern-day. As Colorado’s premier model train show, this is a truly unique event that shouldn’t be missed!

Whiskey Warm-Up

Date: March 7th, 2020

Where: George Hix Riverside Plaza

Ring in spring in Estes Park with the Whiskey Warm-Up. In its seventh year, special whiskey-themed events are planned throughout the day. The event highlights Colorado distilleries and the whiskey-making process. Plus, attendees will be able to browse local cigar shops, retail vendors, and live music.

Bigfoot Days

Date: April 17th & 18th, 2020

Where: Bond Park

Do you believe Bigfoot exists? Well whether you do or not, make plans to attend Bigfoot Days, an event that is dedicated to the folklore of this woodland creature. Featuring an educational talk, Bigfoot-themed dinner and so much more.

Estes Park Duck Race Festival

Date: May 2nd, 2020

Where: Fall River at Nicky’s Resort

Annually held on the first Saturday in May, the Estes Park Duck Race Festival is a local favorite and a truly unique experience. Watch as thousands of ducks fill the Fall River and all for a good cause. Adopt a rubber duck for $20 and $19 of every duck you adopt will go to one of the charities you selected, plus a chance to win one of hundreds of prizes!

Roots on the Ridge

Date: May 16th, 2020

Where: Estes Park Events Complex

Join in on the fun for the first-ever Roots on the Ridge. The daylong music and arts festival will highlight a variety of music including bluegrass, country, folk, and more.

Memorial Day Celebration

Date: May 23rd – 25th, 2020

Where: throughout downtown Estes Park

Visit Estes Park every Memorial Day weekend as they host its celebration of the summer season. Enjoy a variety of events such as the Annual Art Market, plus live music to keep you entertained. It’s also the opening of Trail Ridge Road and the Estes Park Aerial Tramway making it a great time to visit Estes Park.

Jazz Fest

Date: June 6th – 7th, 2020

Where: Performance Park

As one of Colorado’s most highly anticipated jazz festivals, Jazz Fest weekend in Estes Park is a great way to experience the sound of the music, sample local foods, and beverages.

Scandinavian Midsummer Festival

Date: June 26th – 28th, 2020

Where: Downtown Estes Park at Bond Park

Celebrate Scandinavian culture at the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival. Soak up Scandinavian traditions with dancing, beer garden, 80+ artisans, demonstrations, live entertainment, and family-fun activities.

July

4th of July Celebration

Date: July 4th, 2020

Where: Estes Park Fairgrounds

Watch as fireworks light up the sky over the Rockies for a one-of-a-kind 4th of July experience. Kick-off the evening with a performance at the Big Bang Concert. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Rooftop Rodeo

Date: July 6th – 11th, 2020

Where: throughout Estes Park

Known as the “rodeo with altitude,” the annual Rooftop Rodeo is a week-long event presented by the town of Estes Park. Enjoy parades, rodeo performances, rodeo tours, and so much more!

August

Estes Park Wine Festival

Date: August 8th & 9th, 2020

Where: Bond Park on Macgregor Ave.

Taste Colorado-made wine, cider, and mead in the heart of downtown Estes Park! Tickets include a wine glass, wine tote, unlimited tastings, plus access to live music, retail vendors, and food vendors.

Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival

Date: September 11th – 13th, 2020

Where: Estes Park Fairgrounds and Event Center

Known as the Celtic capital of North America, Estes Park hosts the annual Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival. View Celtic folk concerts, jousting, Irish & Highland dancing, and a parade.

Autumn Gold Festival

Date: September 26th & 27th, 2020

Where: Bond Park

Bands, brats, and beer – what more can you ask for? Plan to attend the Autumn Gold Festival in Estes Park where visitors can enjoy the beautiful fall weather and autumn colors with a weekend full of food and drinks and a classic car show.

Elk Fest

Date: October 3rd & 4th, 2020

Elk Fest is one of Estes Park’s most popular events. The festival celebrates the elk mating season in Colorado. Come and sample local foods & beverages, view and shop elk-themed goods, and even bugle like an elk.

Pumpkin & Pilsners

Rocky Mountain Craft Spirits Festival

Fall Back Beer Festival

Kick off the end of Daylight savings with the Fall Back Beer Festival. Enjoy over 100 beers from both local and regional breweries.

Catch the Glow Christmas Parade and Celebration

Date: November 27th, 2020

Where: Downtown Estes Park

Kick off the Christmas season the day after Thanksgiving at the Catch the Glow Christmas Parade and Celebration. Visit with Santa Claus, listen to carolers, and watch the parade – all in downtown Estes Park.
