Estes Park Wool Market and Fiber Festival

Held at the Estes Park Events Complex, the Wool Market and Fiber Festival is one full of colorful wool, yarn, and of course a chance to meet furry little animals such as alpacas, goats, and sheep. Watch educational demos such as the art of natural dyeing, sheep shearing, and spinning on a drop spindle.
Estes Park Marathon
When: June 16th – 17th
The Estes Park Marathon is the perfect chance to see athletes sweat it out and run toward the finish of one of the highest marathons in the country. Sign up yourself and earn some bragging rights for completing a mountain marathon!
Fourth of July Celebration
When: July 4th
Enjoy a classic event in Estes Park, the Fourth of July Celebration. Come out and celebrate America with a pancake breakfast, a free concert, the Coolest Car Show in Colorado, and of course, end the day with a colorful firework display. The firework display starts at 9:30 over Lake Estes. It is a day full of fun festivities the entire family can enjoy!
Rooftop Rodeo
When: July 5th – 10th
To keep the fun going, head out to the Rooftop Rodeo and see this action-packed show unique to Colorado. Watch as professional cowboys compete in this week-long event filled with different activities such as the Rooftop Rodeo Parade, barrel racing, and a behind the Chutes tour.
SnowyGrass Music Festival
When: July 21st
Come out and enjoy the free SnowyGrass Music Festival at Snowy Peaks Winery. With six Bluegrass bands, craft beverages, food vendors, and a beautiful setting by the river, this festival is sure to be a good time. Dogs are welcome, and a $10 donation is suggested for local non-profits.
Labor Day Arts and Craft Show plus the 14th annual John Denver Tribute Concert
When: September 1st – 3rd
End the summer by enjoying local artists’ displays at Bond Park at the Labor Day Arts and Craft Show. With over 100 artists, this Labor Day weekend tradition is one for all locals and tourists alike. Also, be sure to catch the John Denver tribute concert, presented by the Lions Club of Estes Park.
