Biking
Biking is a great way to get to know Estes Park and challenge yourself in the mountains. If the little ones aren’t ready for difficult trails, there are plenty of in-town trails and easy loops around the city. There are several lakes and falls loops that have little to no incline and several popular hiking trails that take you to great heights but at an easy pace.

The Reel Mountain Theater is a family-owned and operated business that takes theater popcorn very seriously meaning it’s very delicious for you! For a cinematic adventure that takes you back in time, visit the Historic Park Theatre which began operating in 1913 and is the oldest-running movie theater in the United States. Wildlife Watching
Want a free and fun activity for your young ones? Wildlife watching is the perfect activity for the kids and Estes Park’s wildlife includes elk, deer, bighorn sheep, coyote, marmot, and sometimes you’ll see black bears. While most of these animals tend to stick to their surroundings inside Rocky Mountain National Park, you’ll occasionally see them wander into town for a visit. It is a special experience to see these animals against the fall foliage!
