Rocky Mountain National Park to Reopen

The town of Estes Park is happy to announce Rocky Mountain National Park to reopen on May 27th. While operations and services will be much different this year, there still will be many ways in which to enjoy the park during your trip to Estes Park.

While the entire park will not be open, with visitor centers remaining closed along with certain services, the phased reopening will offer access to hiking trails and campsites. Plus, the Bear Lake Road corridor shuttle will start to run on May 27th, but at a reduced capacity. It is still yet to be determined if the Hiker shuttle from the Estes Park Visitor Center will re-open this summer or not.

Additionally, part of the phased re-opening will include camping at Moraine Park and Glacier Basin campgrounds at 50% capacity starting June 4th.
